Short Description

Canyon Raid is a modern reimagining of the 1982 classic River Raid, bringing intense top-down aerial combat to a vibrant low-poly 3D world. Navigate diverse landscapes, manage your fuel and ammunition, upgrade your aircraft, and face challenging enemies in this fast-paced arcade shooter.

Long Description

Canyon Raid is a love letter to the golden age of arcade shooters. Inspired by the 1982 Atari classic River Raid, it takes the addictive top-down flying formula and rebuilds it from the ground up in a vibrant low-poly 3D world — keeping the soul of the original while adding modern depth and polish.

At its core, Canyon Raid is about survival, resource management, and smart flying. You navigate across handcrafted maps, shooting down enemy fighters, destroying ground installations, and refueling at depots before your tank runs dry. Die and you start over — no checkpoints, no safety nets. Just skill.

What sets Canyon Raid apart is its progression layer. Between runs you unlock and upgrade multiple aircraft, each with different speed, firepower, and shield characteristics. Every upgrade decision shapes how you approach the next mission. Multiple difficulty modes, Steam leaderboards, and diverse boss encounters ensure no two playthroughs feel the same.

Developed entirely by solo developer Tomasz Grabowski (Asto) from Poland, Canyon Raid is a one-person project handling everything from Unity code and 3D modeling to level design.
